Let this summer be your invitation to slow down, create freely, and reconnect with yourself through colour, nature, and gentle journaling.
This 6-week creative course blends expressive art-making with mindful journaling — designed to nourish your wellbeing and spark joy in the simple things.
Using the season of summer as our inspiration — its colours, textures, long days, and time spent outdoors — you’ll build a beautiful, personal art journal in an A5 sketchbook, filled with watercolour marks, pastel textures, collage, and words that matter to you.
Absolutely no experience is needed — just curiosity and a willingness to play.
Each week will offer:
A calming creative prompt inspired by summer
Gentle journaling exercises (just a few words or short reflections)
Time to explore with materials like watercolours, pastels, paint sticks & collage
Space to connect with others or work quietly — however you feel on the day
Themes we’ll explore include:
Creating your own Summer Colour Palette
The Textures of the Outdoors
Mapping a Summer Memory
Still Life & Slow Moments
Playing with Time, Sun & Rest
Blooming & Letting Go
This is your space to explore creativity in a relaxed, supportive environment — a weekly pause just for you.
All materials provided — just bring yourself (and perhaps a cuppa from the café!)
Come and create a little pocket of summer you can carry with you — on the page, and in your heart.
