We close The Floral series with a breezy, light-filled scene of wildflowers in bloom — with a special focus on the delicate, brilliant blue of cornflowers swaying in the summer air.
In this session, you’ll learn how to create atmospheric depth with a soft, blurred background using wet-on-wet washes and masking fluid, before shifting focus to the foreground — where your cornflowers take centre stage through controlled wet-on-dry techniques. It’s a beautiful balance of looseness and detail, colour and calm.
