Alcohol Ink Jewellery Making Workshop - HALF DAY

£80.00Price

Alcohol Ink Jewellery Workshop

A little colour, a little shimmer and something lovely to wear—or give at Christmas!

Join me at The Art Cabin for a creative day turning your own alcohol ink artwork into beautiful jewellery. From bold turquoise and rich jewel colours to softer, delicate shades, you can choose a palette that feels like you—or someone special on your Christmas list.

We’ll begin the morning by exploring alcohol inks: how to apply them, let colours flow and blend, and create interesting patterns. I’ll introduce the materials, demonstrate techniques and explain how we’ll use them during the session.

After a lunch break, we’ll turn our artwork into jewellery. You’ll choose your favourite sections, carefully cut them to size and fit them into jewellery settings, known as bezels. It’s lovely seeing how a small section of your artwork becomes a finished piece!

You’ll create four jewellery sets, choosing combinations such as a pendant and earrings, earrings and a bracelet, or a pendant and bracelet. There will be a choice of settings and cords to complement your designs.

The workshop takes place on Saturday 7 November 2026, from 10.30am to 3.30pm, including a lunch break. The price is £80 per person, with all jewellery-making materials included.

We’ll be at The Art Cabin, Hut 2, Craft Village, Coolings Garden Centre, Rushmore Hill, Knockholt, Kent, TN14 7NN, behind Arthurs Café. Free parking is available on site.

Aprons are essential, as alcohol inks can stain clothing. Some hand dexterity is advisable: cutting small sections of artwork accurately and fitting them into the bezels can be fiddly. If you have concerns about managing this part, please contact me before booking so we can discuss what’s involved.

We use 99.9% isopropyl alcohol, which releases vapour and has a strong smell. Although the inks are quite safe to use,   as a precaution, this workshop is not suitable during pregnancy or for people with chronic respiratory conditions.

The window will be open whilst we use the inks, and masks will be available.

Lunch and refreshments aren’t included. You’re welcome to bring your own or visit Arthurs Café during the lunch break.  The Art Cabin will be closed during the lunch break, so that the space can be set up for the jewellery making section of the day.

For any questions, please contact Sara at sara@theartcabin.org or 07540 688720.

I look forward to seeing the colours and creations you come up with!
