Enjoy drawing and painting at your own pace, with friendly guidance to help you get started, explore new techniques and build confidence. Pop the kettle on, gather your paints and make a little time for yourself!

How it works

After you purchase, your first project will be sent to you by email in PDF form. If you cannot see it in your inbox, please check your spam, junk or promotions folders.

Projects are emailed mid-month and at the end of each month. They’re also available in the password-protected area of the website, and the password will be emailed to you. You can follow the guides on a screen or print them out to keep beside you while you paint.

What’s included

  • Two seasonal drawing and watercolour projects each month.

  • A reference image and warm-up sheet.

  • Sketching and watercolour guides.

  • Colour recipes, helpful tips and techniques.

  • An outline template to help you draw or trace.

  • Occasional videos demonstrating particular techniques.

  • An invitation to our private Facebook group.

Our Facebook group is a lovely, encouraging place to share your paintings, ask questions and meet fellow creatives. I’ll always do my best to offer cheerful advice when you need a helping hand.

What you’ll need

  • Watercolour paints.

  • Watercolour paper or a watercolour sketchbook, ideally 300gsm.

  • A small and medium round paintbrush.

  • A pencil and eraser.

  • A palette or white plate for mixing.

  • A pot of clean water.

  • Kitchen roll or tissue.

A waterproof fineliner, white gouache and cotton buds can also be useful for some projects. Individual guides will explain any additional materials.

There’s no pressure to produce a perfect painting. These projects are about slowing down, enjoying the seasons and discovering what you can create.
