Winter Whimsy Watercolour

Take a little break from the Christmas bustle and join me for a cheerful morning of paint, colour and festive creativity!

In this playful class, we’ll create four small Christmas watercolours, exploring simple techniques that you can use again at home. Think snowy trees, glowing baubles, a cheerful little robin and a cosy winter cottage—small paintings full of character, ready to inspire handmade Christmas cards, gift tags or little keepsakes.

I’ll guide you through each design, showing you how to let colours mingle in a wet wash, build up gentle layers, lift highlights and add those lovely finishing touches that bring a painting to life. We’ll keep the drawing simple and leave room for your own colours and personality.

There’s no pressure to make everything perfectly neat. A slightly wonky cottage or a wonderfully round robin is all part of the charm! This is a chance to experiment, learn and enjoy making something personal to share at Christmas.

Join us on Saturday 12 December 2026, from 10.30am to 1pm. The class costs £45 per person, with all painting materials included. Simply bring an apron and come ready to enjoy a creative morning.

We’ll be painting at The Art Cabin, Hut 2, Craft Village, Coolings Garden Centre, Rushmore Hill, Knockholt, Kent, TN14 7NN. You’ll find us behind Arthurs Café, with free parking on site.

Refreshments aren’t provided, but you’re very welcome to bring your own drink or pick one up from Arthurs Café before the class and bring it with you.
