Celebrate the delicate beauty of blossom season in Cherry Blossom, a softly expressive session in the A Vintage Summer in Bloom series. In this class, you’ll create an elegant composition of gentle pink blossoms on fine branches, arranged in a simple vessel and set against a warm, textured background with a rustic, vintage feel.
 
Working as a mixed media collage piece, you’ll combine watercolour, acrylic, and layered collage elements to build texture and depth throughout your artwork. This process allows for a loose, painterly style, with soft blossoms contrasted against a richly textured surface, giving your piece a beautifully aged and artistic finish.
 
You’ll be guided step-by-step, learning how to balance structure with softness, layer colour effectively, and incorporate collage in a natural and harmonious way. Suitable for all abilities, this class offers a relaxed and inspiring environment to explore both technique and creativity. All materials are included.
