A Vintage Summer in Bloom -White Roses and Blue Hydrangeas
A Vintage Summer in Bloom – White Roses and Blue Hydrangeas
Date: Friday 19th June
Time: 10:30am – 1:00pm
End the A Vintage Summer in Bloom series with the soft elegance of White Roses and Blue Hydrangeas. In this final session, you’ll create a beautifully balanced floral composition featuring delicate white roses nestled among gentle blue hydrangea blooms, set against a dreamy, softly blended background.
Working on A3 watercolour paper, you’ll use a combination of watercolour and acrylic to build layers of colour, light, and texture. This class focuses on creating soft, romantic florals, blending subtle tones, and developing a loose, painterly style that captures the natural harmony of the arrangement. Acrylic details will be added to enhance depth and definition while maintaining the lightness of the piece.
You’ll be guided step-by-step through the process, bringing together many of the techniques explored throughout the series. Suitable for all abilities, this is a wonderful opportunity to refine your skills while creating a calm and expressive final artwork. All materials are included.
