5 Week Creative Course
This gentle and nurturing 5-week creative journaling course is designed to support your mental wellness through art, reflection and self-expression.
Using collage and mixed media, you’ll create a personal journal that becomes a safe space for creativity, calm and connection with yourself.
Each student receives their own A5 journal to keep and bring along each week, building a meaningful body of work as the course progresses.
About the Course
This course focuses on artistic journaling using collage, paint and mixed media techniques.
Each week is guided by a light, self-reflective creative prompt, sent by email on the Friday before the class. This gives you time to gently reflect, gather ideas or inspiration if you wish — though everything is completely optional and pressure-free.
You’ll explore:
Collage layering and composition
Mixed media techniques
Creative expression for relaxation and wellbeing
Using art as a tool for reflection and self-care
There is no right or wrong outcome — the emphasis is on process, not perfection.
What’s Included
Your own A5 art journal to keep
A wide range of collage and mixed media materials
Use of all tools and supplies during the sessions
You’re also very welcome to bring along any of your own materials if you’d like to use them.

Refreshments
Refreshments are not provided, but you’re welcome to bring a hot drink with you.
There is also a café and the Artisan Bakery on site should you wish to visit before or after the session.

Maximum of 6 students to ensure a calm, supportive environment
Weekly creative prompts are emailed on the Friday before each class
A reminder email will be sent one week before the course begins
