🎨 What You’ll Create
Across six weeks, you’ll journey through three wild floral themes, building skills through warm-up explorations before creating larger, expressive artworks on artist board.
Weeks 1 & 2 – Cow Parsley & Hedgerow Whites
Week 1:
A gentle warm-up session creating four mini studies inspired by the airy elegance of cow parsley. We’ll explore light layering, soft colour palettes, texture building, and delicate mark-making.Week 2:
Develop your ideas into a larger cow parsley artwork on artist board, capturing movement, lightness, and that unmistakable early-summer softness.
Weeks 3 & 4 – Poppies & Cornflowers
Week 3:
A second warm-up series of mini artworks focusing on bold colour, expressive brushwork, and layering techniques inspired by vibrant meadow poppies and cornflowers.Week 4:
Create your main wild meadow composition on artist board — combining loose florals with shabby chic texture and painterly depth.
Weeks 5 & 6 – A Composition of Summer
Week 5:
Exploratory session developing colour stories, abstract floral shapes, and compositional balance as we move towards a more expressive style.Week 6:
Create a colourful abstract piece — a joyful composition of summer. This final artwork brings together everything you’ve explored: wild flowers, layered texture, confident mark-making, and your own creative voice.
This final stage is about freedom, confidence, and celebrating your personal interpretation of The Wild Season.
