Discover the rich, decorative beauty of Gustav Klimt’s work in this Paint It Like Klimt workshop, inspired by his vibrant Flower Garden paintings. Known for his distinctive use of pattern, colour, and texture, Klimt’s style blends fine detail with expressive brushwork, creating richly layered and visually captivating compositions.
 
In this guided session, students will learn how to create their own floral artwork inspired by Klimt’s approach. We’ll explore his use of bold colour combinations, rhythmic mark-making, and how to build depth and movement through repeated shapes and textures. The focus will be on enjoying the process while developing confidence and creativity, making this workshop suitable for all abilities.
 
The class is taught by Melanie Anne Juliette, who will guide you step by step in a relaxed, supportive environment.

All materials are provided, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the creative experience.
Please note that refreshments are not provided during the class. However, there is a fantastic café and artisan bakery on site, and students are very welcome to bring their own drinks into the session.
