Step into the dappled light and swirling brushstrokes of Van Gogh’s Woods and Undergrowth in this engaging acrylics workshop. Guided by our experienced tutor Mel, you’ll explore a little of Van Gogh’s history, artistic context, and unique style before experimenting with paint techniques to capture the textures and atmosphere of this enchanting woodland scene.
 
You’ll begin with playful exercises to loosen up your brushwork and get comfortable with colour, then move on to creating your own canvas board masterpiece inspired by Van Gogh’s iconic painting. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with a vibrant artwork that reflects both his influence and your own creativity.

☕ Good to know:
There are no refreshments in the Art Cabin itself, but Arthur’s Café at Coolings Garden Centre is just next door if you’d like a cuppa before or after the session. Please just bring along an apron to protect your clothing.
