Step into the magic of Christmas with this 6-week beginner-friendly watercolour course, designed to gently guide you through the beautiful basics of watercolour painting while capturing the warmth and wonder of the festive season.
 
Each week, you’ll explore new techniques — from soft winter washes and glowing candlelight to shimmering bokeh backgrounds and snowy textures created with salt — as you build confidence and create a collection of enchanting Christmas-inspired artworks.
 
By the end of the course, you’ll have mastered key watercolour skills including layering, glazing, texture creation, and light effects, while completing a portfolio of festive pieces perfect for handmade cards, thoughtful gifts, or seasonal display. The final session will bring it all together in a wintery landscape masterpiece, using scoring and layering to capture frosty trees and peaceful snowy scenes.
