Step into a winter wonderland in this relaxing and therapeutic watercolour workshop. Together we’ll create a beautiful snowy Christmas landscape, complete with distant trees, a frozen pond, and gently falling snow — using clever but simple techniques that let the paint do all the work!
From soft washes to unexpected mark-making tools (yes, even cocktail sticks!), you’ll discover how to create magical textures and effects that capture the stillness of winter.
 
What we’ll cover:
How to paint atmospheric snowy skies and winter light
Using washes and water to let the paint create natural textures
Techniques for suggesting distant trees and frozen water
Creative mark-making to add snowy details and highlights
 
What’s included:
✔ All materials provided (watercolours, brushes, cocktail sticks, watercolour paper, and fine liners if needed)
✔ Step-by-step demonstrations
✔ A finished winter landscape painting to take home plus a mount to pop in an A4 size frame (frame not included).

Please arrive 10 minutes early to settle in.
Free parking is available at Coolings Garden Centre.
Optional: bring your own refreshments, or pick up a coffee from Arthur’s Café onsite.
