In Bloom – Shabby Chic Floral Art is a nurturing five-week course exploring floral-inspired mixed media, collage, and painterly techniques — perfect for anyone longing for a slower, more soulful way to create.
This course is about process over perfection. Whether you’re new to art or returning after time away, you’ll be guided to create freely, build confidence, and enjoy the simple pleasure of making.

🎨 What You’ll Create
Across the five weeks, you’ll explore two beautiful shabby chic floral themes, building your confidence through warm-up pieces before creating larger, expressive artworks.
Weeks 1 & 2 – Shabby Blooms
Week 1: A gentle warm-up session creating four mini artworks, exploring collage, texture, and layered paint techniques.
Week 2: Develop your ideas into a larger shabby blooms artwork on artist board.
Weeks 3 & 4 – Floral Array Bouquet
Week 3: A second warm-up series of four mini artworks, experimenting with composition, colour, and mixed media layering.
Week 4: Create your main Floral Array Bouquet artwork on artist board.
Week 5 – Your Own Creative Path
In the final week, you’ll bring along a photo or print for inspiration and create a personal artwork using either:
the Shabby Blooms techniques, or
the Floral Array Bouquet approach.
This session is all about creative freedom, confidence, and making the process your own.
☕ Refreshments
While refreshments are not provided in the Art Cabin, you’re very welcome to bring your own tea, coffee, or hot chocolate with you.
There is also a lovely onsite café and artisan bakery where you can pop in before or after class.

This course also runs on Tuesday — perfect if Tuesdays don’t suit your schedule.
